One and all can enjoy the fun during the 10 days’ events.Elsewhere in this issue is an ad giving a more complete list of the events.fr.‘ • vl\Regulations For 1965 Deer Seasons GivenThe 1965 deer season regulations were set last week at the Conservation Commission’s regular monthly meeting in Des Moines, State Conservation Commission officials announced today.Shotgun deer hunting in the state will again be split into a “long zone and short zone.” The long zone will have a four-day season from December 11 through December 14. The short zone will have a two-day season December 11 and 12. Shooting hours will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.The short zone is an area enclosed on the east by U.S. Highway 218 from the Minnesota line south to its junction with Interstate 80 near Iowa City.
