tn« .sirmn cave on i race nrancn. i There is another place similar to this in the Round Mountain community near the school house. It would be interesting to investigate and explore these peculiar places but extremely hazardous too and it seems that no one is interested enough to risk the danger involved in descending into one of these places. There are numerous caves also, the mostly widely known one is the Fincher Cave on the prop- I erty of Mrs. Maggie Brown of the Black Oak community. This cave has never been fully explored. Mrs. Br»wn has installed electric lights in a portion of it and it is truly an interesting place to explore. On this same farm is another cave called “The (Jrandene Cave”, On one trip into this cave the party of people who were exploring it became separated and on trying to locate the others, found that part of the crowd vlt;Mre in a portion of the cave directly under the upper part where the others were. They experiencedsome difficulty in finding Uie way out. Near this cave is a natural amphitheatre. It is worth one’s time to see this alone. Why leavecuriosities such as there to see the wonders of the west? Truly wehave as interesting sights in Arkansas as the Petrified Forest of Arizona if we but turn our attention to our surroundings.
