Birthday Party Given in HonorOf Roy HarrisMr. and Mrs. Sell Hilder-brand and daughter Nina and Billie Jean were host and hostess for a birthday party in honor of Mrs. Hilderbrand's father, Rcry Harris of Rockdale, in their home at 401 Sandra Dr., Brenham, July 14.After greeting the 51 guests at their home they were invited to the community room in Brenham, where they had prepared b a r b e c u e buffet luncheon for the guests.The tables in the recreation room were decorated with an arrangement of chrysanthemums and daisies on the buffet table. Other arrangements were placed on the banquet table, also with gaily colored place mats at each place setting.Mr. and Mrs. Hilderbrand welcomed the guests and Brod Vaughan of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, gave the invocation.All of Mr. Harris’ children were present: Joy Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Joe K. Harris and son Ronny, all of Lubbock; Mr. and Mrs. Brod Vaughan and sons Brafford and Roger, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.Other guests were two sisters, Mrs. Louis Taylor of Calvert and Mrs. Lois Moses ofWaco. Others were Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Moses of Robstown,B. D. Moses, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Ridens and children Shelly, Rex, and Ray, all of Sinton; Mrs. Gary Bowden and children, Mance and Michelle, of Albany, Georgia; Mr. and Mrs.C. A. Moses, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Moses, of Wharton; Re-hean and Randell Moses, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Cocok and Jan, of Houston; Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Harris and children, Debbie, Chris, Melissa and Greg, of New Orleans; Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Oliver and daughter Johnyee, of Bay City; Share 11 Nicholson, Kelley Mar-lor, and Cal Meritt, of Dallas; Mrs. Mildred Baker and daughter Elaine of Rockdale.After spending the weekend in Brenham Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harris accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Brod Vaughan to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, for a 10-day visit, returning July 27. after visiting many i n t e restingpoints.
