T(1laUWhat cannot Medina do when she isput to the test t This question was askedseveral times last Saturday when the business men of Medina in a spirit of enterprise decorated the park for the Band Carnival.Early Saturday morning the work of|C decorating was commenced and by noon the park was transformed into a bowerof beauty. The national colors were everywhere to be seen, and the park, | ^ always beautiful and attractive in the summer, was rendered doubly so by the artistic work of the business men.Nearly all the business houses of the town were represented. Many of thejh decorations were quite fetching and attracted a great deal of notice, but want | ir of space prevents us from enumerating them One of ttie most beautiful was the display of the Medina Electric Light Company. It consisted of a five pointed star with various colored electric lights and made a pretty picture. The twotelephone companies had telephones on the ground and afforded the facilities of their offices to the public free of charge. | b Five arc lights were placed at various points in the park and these supplemen-1 ted by hundreds of Chinese lanterns made the night almost as light as day.Four bands were present, Wadsworth, Seville.
