Mix was a counsellor at Camp Gregory on Cayuga Lake last week.Mr. and Mrs. David Bowers and family, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas P. Merkley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Wright Jr. and family, Dr. and Mrs. Lew S. Mix and family attended a picnic Saturday evening at Camp Rotary on Owas-co Lake. Boys of the village in camp were Donald Robinson, David Bowers Jr., Billy Mix, John Merkley, Philip and Jimmy Wright and their father, Theodore Wright Jr., who is scoutmaster of Cayuga troop 54.Mrs. Georg© Riddle of Painted Post was guest of honor at a birthday dinner Saturday evening. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fordham and children, Candace and Anita Kay, Mrs. Harold Fordham of Brockport and Mr. Riddle. The dinner was at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oskar Schlappi and family of Union Springs.Mrs. Marion Redfield and daughter Barbara spent the weekend with Everett Bowman at Williamson.Half Acre Union Church willhave no services during August. On Sept. 8 morning worship willand sons, Richard and Kenneth, and Mrs. Clarence Hall of Clark St., Rd., attended the annual pilgrimage to the Eastern Star Home at Oriskany Saturday.Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Robinsonattended camp fire ceremonies at Camp Rotary on Owasco Lake Saturday evening.Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chapinvisited Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Chapin in Schenectady recently. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Chapin andson Mark of Chesterfield, Va., on Saturday visited Lester’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chapin Saturday. Mrs. Lester Chapin and son have been visiting relatives in Auburn. The Chapins left for Virginia on Sunday.Dr. and Mrs. Germain Marion and children, Billy, Nancy, Rickey and Jimmy of University of Kansas, Manhattan, Kan., were guests of Dr. and Mrs. Lew S.
