Prizes Awarded For Davy Crockett Garb !iAt the Drtvy Crockett show held Friday afternoon at the Island Park Playground, prizes were a-warded for contestants wearing various articles'of clothing decorated with the Davy Crockett emblem.First prize for the best Davy Crockett hat was split between ' Thomas Marye and Kathy Ross, with Mike Baker and Thomas Marye tying for first with their special shirts. First place for shoes was awarded to John Kibbe.A special prize, for a complete, Davy Crockett outfit, was given Kathy Ross in first place, N^ith Joey I Baker coming in second.Davy’s foe, an Indian, was represented by James Sweeney, who was attired as an Indian warrior.Everyone present was given suc-*1 kers by Miss Ann Engelder, director of the Playground, who also served as judge for the contest.
