78 Attend Stone Family ReunionBelton, TexasTHE BELTOThe first family reunion of the descendants of Andrew Carwilc and Rebecca Leather-wood Stone was attended by 78 members of their family lastSaturday at the Town Services Lodge on Lake Belton. At noon a barbecue dinner was served and the day was spent in re ncwing old times.Mr. and Mrs. Stone immigrated to Texas from Mississippi in 1876, settling north of Holland, where they reared a family of nine children.Those attending from out of the city were Mrs. Alan Webb, Provo, Utah; Capt. Wellborn Goodnight, Mrs. Christine Wilson, Killeen; Mr. Wallace Wilson,Work of Rock CreekCemetery on May 1The annual cemetery working at Rock Creek (Sharp) Cemetery will be held May 1, according to C. V. Griggs, publicity chairman.The cemetery is located south of Killeen, and is one of the oldest, best-kept cemeteries in the county, in recent years, an association has been organized and many permanent improvements have been made.All persons interested in (lie beautification of the grounds are urged ‘to come early and work some, then enjoy an old-fashioned lunch on the'ground.
