The floating theatre, Hitner’s “Cotton Blossom” was at our landing last Saturday and gave a good show to a large audience.The river has been at a high stage here being in the low places about town, but not high enough to cause any one to move. It commenced falling Monday.Ollie George spent the weekend with his family in Louisville.Joe Bell made a business trip to Louisville last week.The Button Factory is closed down at present but will open again in a few days.The Arc Theatre opened Tuesday in the K. of M. building corner First and Nelson Sts. and has some fine pictures for its patrins, to be shown in the near future. Saturday night, May 1 is Norma Talmadge in “The Way of a Woman.” We extend an invitation to all to come and enjoy these fine pictures with us.
