Carpenter School Closes April 16The Carpenter School rioted Fri day with a basket dinner and program. Over 70 people attended.After the program, Shirley Lptue was presented her diploma Three pupils attended schcol during the term without being absent or tardy They were Eileen Hays. Kenneth Hustead and Janey Stanley Each of he 14 pupil aus p oiented with a Heading Certlfl-cate. jSome outstanding work was done In the Nature Knight Club in school. Five Squire awards mere presented to Jeanne Oaw, Kenneth Hustead. Charles Hobbs. Jerry Stanley and J L Miller The Knight award was presented to Eileen Hay* Shirley Logue and Janey Stanley will receive their Knight plan May 14th at P T. A. meeting Ralph 8chnel!e. Conservation Agent. Jefferson City collected 15 posters and two murals from the Nature Knight exhibit in March ยป He mill show these porters and I murals at the State Fair, District and State Teachers Conventions. Sportsman show and other places. Mr. SchneOe state* that it was the best exhibit he had seen In thestate,Mrs Martha Miller was theteacher and ahe has been elected for snother term.
