Spring Carnival ToOpenMay 1novelty spring carnival to be held at the clubhouse, 820 Main street. May 1, 2 and 3. A variety of entertainment has been plannedfor this affair, including floorshows and various games.Special Features.On Thursday a special featureVFW Post to Conduct will be a dance review by theAnnual Novelty EntertainmentDaysMembers of William Ehrlichpost, Veterans of Foreign Wars,under the joint chairmanship ofMatt Milkie and Grace Simonson, have completed plans for the12Oft.RED ROCKBEVERAGES12VI.Belle City Drum corps majorettes. A military review will be heldFriday with senior dance troopersfrom Mane Judd’s studio. On Saturday the Johnson brothers will put on novelty acts.In addition to the booth displays and entertainment for evenings, the Ladies’ auxiliary will conduct card parties Thursday and Friday afternoon, May 1 and 2, with silk hose as priaes. The auxiliary drill team will serve coffee and lunches. Tickets may be purchased from post members and ladies of the auxiliary or at the clubhouse. Veterans, their friends, and the public are invited to attend the bie event.
