The ladies of the Syrian Benevolent Association of Bell Island, a few nights ago held a sociable which included a supper and dance at Wabana Hill. Some 9S couples participated and a most enjoyable time was spent. A handsome sum was realized and will be devoted to a charitable purpose. Mesdames McCarbage and .1. Gosine originated the affair.-o-
