Lou Holcomb Is Honoredi Mrs. Lou Holcomb celebrated her f 85th birthday Sunday when a surprise birthday dinner was given her t by relatives and friends, in the city park. “Uncle Bud” Carpenter, 102 years of age, was present and re-s turned thanks at the beginning of the dinner.Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Holcomb, Mrs. C. O. Wheeler and son, Amick, and Curtis Varnell of Austin; Mrs. Emma Holcomb, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ramsey and i son, Randolph. Mr. and Mrs. Ray-t mond Holcomb and Mrs. Lou Holcomb of Temple; and Miss Ethel Marrie Cole of Milano.Local people attending were: Mrs. t E. R. Everett, Miss Elma White, t Mrs. J. B.
