At the plate of the honoree, Miss Morrow, was placed a bottle of “Black Narcisse” perfume.* * *Mrs. Douglass Monroe entertained the S. S. Bridge t'lub at luncheon Tuesday at 1 o'clock in honor of Miss Vivian Morrow. A delicious two- j course luncheon was served to the club members and Miss Morrow. The' lovely living room was decorated with I roses, larkspurs, cosmos and silver spray. Mrs. Joe Keepers received j the high score. Miss Morrow was j presented with a pair of,beautiful j hose as guest prize.* •* *Lifeguards Eva Lee Jackson, Katherine McKinney and Mesdames K. V.I Yeurgan and Dick Lanfear entertained their friends of the Business Girls Class with an indoor beach party jn the home c*f Mrs. Yeargan on Tuesday evening. Contestants from Palm Reach, Atlantic City and Corpus Christ! staged a fascinating bathingrevue, which was viewed from comfortable seats on the respective beaches. The‘artistic ability of those present was revealed in a sketching contest. An exciting clam hunt and a seaman’s vocabulary contest were j further diversions. The hostesses served a dainty salad course and icedtea.the color scheme carried out through the dainty refreshments. A large pink and white birthday cake bearing seven pink candles was the centerpiece. Brick ice cream and Angel food cakewere served to the guests. Thelittle honoree received many birthday J gifts. Those present were, imogene Sibyl Faulk, Margaret Yvonne Faulk, Trula Florence Durham, Sophia Goodwin, Edith Mork, Geraldine Hall.
