The bonds will be sold I at «n early date, so the work on theInew addition to the high school can begin immediately after the school closes.Last week some twelve or fifteen Sikeston girls engaged a hair dresser from Caruthersville to come upand bob their hair then give them the permanent wave. She came, she bobbed, she waved, then charged. Now comes the sequal. These girls washed their hair and with the washing went the permanent wave that they paid from $7 to $11 for and lo, and behold, the hair was singed and ragged and very unpretty. Moral, be satisfied with that which God gave, las he doeth all things well.
