The AURELIA [Iowa] SENTINEL, THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 1958AFTONETTES 4-H CLUBThe Aftonettes 4-H club entertained at the March meeting of the Afton Farm Bureau. Theme of the program was “Hit Parade Through the Ages.” Myma Bud-denhagen served as mistress of ceremonies. The program included:“The Can-Can,” by Judy Ehr-hardt, Carolyn Buddenhagen, Geraldine and Mary Sampson, and Cheryl Mummert; a poem, “Socrates Snooks,” was read by Jan is Jones; a song, “Flow Gently Sweet Afton,” was sung by Janice Kastengren and Kathleen Flanigan; Virginia Zwick andSandra Anderson sang “When You and I Were Young, Maggie”; the Virginia Reel was presented by Harriett and Patty Anderson, Jean Patterson, Betty Jahn, Connie and Bonnie Johnson and Sandra and Vicki McCabe; Carol Gaston played a piano selection “On Skates”; the Charleston was presented by Iris Jackson, Patricia Sleezer and Janet and Janice Jahn; Margie Jackson and Janis Jones sang “There Is a Tavern in the Town”; the “Bop” was presented by Geraldine Sampson and Cheryl Mummert; a piano selection, “Hi Ho Jack Frost,” was played by Sally Boyer; “Sugartime” was sung by Karen Koth, and Carolyn and Myrna Budden-hagen.—Janis Jones, reporter.NEED SEED CORN?yovrEHMV’C.e IfeEAl ED
