ResolutionOF THE BOARD OF STEWARDS OF THECENTtifflL MiSTHO-piT CHURCH OFDECATUR, ALA-BAM A. f/ ■ . ;j.Whereas, our Heavenly Father, In hfc Infinite wisdom, has removed from our midst our beloved Brother Luther Roy Nash, andWhereas, while burdened with grief at a loss so great,we bow in humble submission to the Omnipotent, cheered by hope In a faith that death isbut the portal to immortality, and that our loss Is heaven's gain, and* * 'A lt;Whereon, our departed brother championed everycause seeking the advancement of his church and the Kingdom of God on earth, not alone by his abiding faith,but by his good works for his fellowman,Therefore, be it resolved:First: That in the death of Brother Luther Roy Nash, The Central Methodist church of Decatur has lost a dearlyGloved and highly esteemed member, and the City of Decatur a model citizen;Second: That his death has brought to us a profound sorrow. from which flows to the family and loved ones, a sin-7 W *. •cere sympathy; „—--—Third: That the Secretary of the Board of Stewards be and is requested to send this testimonial to the family of the deceased, to The Decatur Daily, and to the Alabama Christian Advocate;» - -—Fourth: That these resolutions be spread on the minutes of the Board of Stewards of the Central Methodist Church.BRYAN McAFEE,Chairman..1.
