Yesterday the News imblished a list of donations from manufaeturers, merchants and others whom tin; commit lee happened to see. To-day is presented a list of the Connersville Wheel Company employes, who contributed the gross sum of $24. Several other contributions were handed the commit lee after the News had gone lo press but appear below. The contribution from the Wheel Works employes was handed to the News and the same will be turned over lo the general commit I ee.One incident of the giving yesterday is especially worthy of mention. Cyrus Allison, who is employed by William Newkirk, is a poor man hut one who fully sympathises wilh his fellow men in distress. Probably he had little money to spare i he i had the will and some choice domestic canned fruit at his home and i his he divided wilh the stricken people on the far away Pacific coast.He boxed and carried a goodly quantity of the canned goods to tin* car. where it was packed with the rest, i and went on its way last night.
