Daniels, ★ ★ * *Prince St. to South Fayette St. recently adjacent to Smith’s Grocery.Two original songs have been recorded on the K.B.K Label by a local band.The band is composed of four Becklcy youths and a boy from Oak Hill. The titles of their songs are “Shame On You” and “That’s AU We Need.”The recording was made at Gateway Studios in Pittsburgh, Pa. Technical work was provided by the Radio Corporation of America in Nashville, Tcnn.The record will be releasedApril 21 and will be on sale inthe Melody Shop.The following persons are ★ ★ ★ ★members of the band:Bill Kent, composer, arranger and organist, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Kent of 339 Westwod Drive. He is a Sophomore at Concord College where he is majoring in political science and economics. Kent is currently assistant choir director and organist at the Methodist Temple, and gives organ instructions at the Jan Campbell Music Co. He is also producer, distributor and owner of the KBK Label.Jane Keeney, vocalist, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Keeney of 119 Church St. She is a receptionist at the Southern West Virginia Clinic and a student at Becklcy College.Danny Bailey, lead guitar, isthe son of Mr. and Mrs. ClaudeBailey of 416 Vance Drive and ★ ★ ★ ★a senior at Woodrow Wilson High School. Until recently he held classes in guitar at Jan Campbell Music Co. and the YMCA. Dan also plays lead guitar with “The Imperials,” a local dance band, and plans to attend Marshall University in the fall.Steve George, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted George of 117 Lilly Drive, a senior at WWHS also plays bass guitar with “The Imperials.” He plans to attend MU.Harry Fuller, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fuller of Oak Hill, plays the drums. He is a business administration major at West Virginia University and is a drummer for the “Glass Menagerie”, a dance band inMorgantown.A sixth member of the group, Dick Pike, Morgantown, plays the trumpet. He is a music major at WVU, but recently enlisted in the U. S. Navy.
