M y * , .The entertainment as given in the program was of a high order and so well rendered in every particular as to callforth the heartiest applause and praise from all present.• cThe children seemed to enter into the work with a zeal and interest that was remarkable and a determination to do their best. To old and young alike it was an evening happily and profitably spent and worthy of frequent repetition.There were present only the members and their families, numbering in all about180 people.An instructive and interesting talk was also given by Dr. J. E. Marsh upon the schools and their influence upon the pub*4l , *lie health.
