' organizations puch as the Southern California Educational Theater Assn., the California Educational Theater Organization and the American Theater Assn.From 1973 to 1975 Prof. White was chairman of region II of the American College Theater' Festival, which is produced by the American Theater Assn., the Amoco Oil Co. and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Alliance for Arts Education .and the Smithsonian Institute. More than 306 universities across the nation present plays, musicals, and original works which are judged. Ten finalists are selected to perform in the Eisenhower Theater jn Washington, D.C. As chairman, Prof. White selected judges, arranged the finalists’ productions, organized workshops and planned a crowning gala banquet with
