Enjoyed Asolo Production »J u Clt;of every generation to find thwe drove up to the Asolo Theater in Sarasota to see the Florida State Theater Company premiere of “The Devil’s GtaeraL” It was great! It emphasized for us the enduring message of this season so revered in the Ju-deo-Christian calendar.Carl Zuckmayer, a German playwright, wrote this drama of Nazi Germany., We understand that it was written years ago but has never before been produced 1 n America. We wonder why. It deserves to be in ourdeals with the recurring questa reason for standing firm ovagainst cruel inhumanity. ftWe cannot over-state our i*1enthusiasm for this produc-tion. The cast, from Walter Rhodes as General Harras to txRobert Strane as Dr. Schmidt- atLausitz and all the others, aiwas persuasive and per- giceptive.
