The Ft Hays Normal Growing|Misa Foster, the assistant teach er in the Hays High school was also employed as one of the new teachers, she being a graduate of the Emporia Normal.At the Regents meeting thoy accepted President Wilkinson's resignation, to take effect July 1, but did not fill the vacancj* until they could look around.Thev also were well satisfied with the new Gymnasium and paid contractor Clark off in full.The Faculty of the Normal with the assistance of the Senior class had the distinction of defeating the students 17 to 9 iq a spectac ular ball cam* Wednesday even ing. “Pa” Picken, *%Ma” Shive-ley and “Fly pnper” Kent were the star features on the Faculty team.At the meeting of the Regents last week they added three more new teachers, Mr. J. S, Bud who will have the ('oramcrcial, while Mr. -I OStmlcv. will have charge of tin? gymnasium, both these gentlemen l»eiiig now .it the Emporia Normal: also Miss Foster of our Hays High school, while all of the present teachers are rc-employed for another year.The attendance continues •*» grow rapidly, and we find the following new' names on the list since our former publication.Charles Wilson, principal of the Lurny schools, Walter Ward.
