The four days' 'walking match dosed a little before midnight Saturday. Madame Dupree repeated what she has done before, that is, she covered 300 miles in less than 100 hours, the exact time being 09 hours and 43 minutes. Mr. G. W. Campbell left the track early Saturday morning, having completed his 234th milo. John Bowlsby, of Davenport, completed his 100 miles about 8 o'clock Saturday evening, his time being 21 hours and 40 minutes. This makes aconHiction with Siercr’s time, as announced, of 18 minutes in his favor; but the time keepers thought it right to award Bowlsby the purse of $23, and we understand it has been paid him. This evening a local match begins at Turner Hall, between Findley and McNeil.
