Mellady, aged 60, living near Otterbein, was taken to the St. Elizabeth hospital at Lafayette Saturday afternoon by her son, Thomas Mellady, for treatment, having met with an accident Saturday in which she fractured both bones in her right leg a short distance above the ankle. She was standing on a sewing raa-! chine hanging a curtain when thei! machine turned over and she was j thrown to the floor. Dr. W. A. Smith ! of Otterbein, accompained her and Dr. La. C. Arnett assisted at the hospital.i
