I pass on the following letter received in response to last week’s column on the U-Ark and the Mutant Fish, a punk rock group that plans to reopen it .Dear Sir:Let me commend you on your recent article on the reopening of the U-Ark. There were, however, a couple of discrepancies. First of all. my name is Gary A-U-T-O-N-O-M-Y, not Anthony.Next I would like to say that it is unfortunate that a localgroup, the Malls, was labeled by (Larry) Brandt (Mutant Fish bass guitarist) as bubblegum wave. This terminology is dangerous and totally erroneous. I have supported the 1 Malls since their inception and understand that they are now working on all new material.1 (They are far from defunct.)| The Malls play good, fast, high-energy music and the con-1 tortions and antics of the lead 1 vocalist are truly something to witness.
