Tickets, selling at $1.00, are now available to the public for this special event to be held in •the May Allen School Cafeteria, and may be purchased at any of the following downtown businesses: Mannings Jewelers, Pert’s Dress shop, Naylor Furniture, Fox Drug, Commercial Motors; or by contacting Mrs. Charles Marshall', Mrs. Charles Gilchrist, or Mrs. R. E. Truesdale.Mr. Wheeler, a well known speaker in his own right, is the son of the late T. B. Wheeler who served Texas as lieutenant governor from 1886 to 1890.W. J. Wheatley, president of the Methodist Men’s organization, announced that this meeting will be the club’s annual iadies night. L. M. Hoffman, chairman of the food committee, assisted by ten other members will serve thefood.A limited number of tickets is available, therefore, those interested in attending should maketheir reservations early.
