»“A MUSICAL BOUQUET PROVES FINE SUCCESSGiven by St Mary's Holy ; Name Club, CharlestownSt Mary's Holy Name Club of Charles- , town presented a fine entertainment last evening in the parish clubhouse, Winthrop st, which was a notable success. “A musical Bouquet,” taking the form of a minstrel show was given with John R. H. Finn, the president, as interlocutor.The performance, the first of a series i to be given In the clubhouse hall, will I be repeated tonight and tomorrow j night, with a children’s performance , next Sunday afternoon at o. The enter- j talnment was arranged by the spiritual j director, Rev Janies L. Davey, and was j directed by Joseph Lawler. Rev Jolm M. McMahon, DD. the pastor, and Rev M: J. Murphy, chaplain of the State Prison, were guests. |The first part was presented by Mi#s 1 Helen Donovan as Fay Templeton, Miss Catherine Keefe ami Miss Catherine Donovan as “The Two Orphans,” William Flynn and George M. Cohan, and ! Miss Helen Mullen as Fritzi Schcff. A i chorus of 60 young men and women in attractive costumes sang a medley of songs assisted by Misses Dunn. Pierce, Crowley, Brennan, Lidell, Lowney, McLaughlin and Regan.Six end men enlivened the entertainment with witty sayings, up-to-date jokes and good stories. They were Wu-j l am Collins . Archie McLaughlin,| Stephen Barrett, John Norton, Edward ! rerr.v and Bart Creedon. They contributed solos and an eccentric dance.Solos also were contributed by MasterJohn Fleming, Miss Helen Mullen, Miss Elinor McConlogue, Miss Rita~Curtis, Thomas Powell Miss Margie Maraghy; solo dance by Miss Helen Baker, includ-a cake walk, and Miss Hogan; dance specialty by John J. Nolan; trios by John and James Harrington and Edward Ferry; song by Miss Eileen Gosnell, assisted by Misses Carr, Gorman, Callahan. Witnely, Cotter and Cummings; song by James Donovan, assisted by Misses Dunn, Pierce, Crowley. Brennan, Lidell, Lowney, McLoughlin and negan; toe dance by Miss Helen Pierce; eccentric dancing by Walter Donahue, and a ••Primrose” chorus, including Misses Donovan, Vaughan. But timer, McDermott and Regan. The program closed with singing by the entire company.The chorus included Misses Helen Kelley, Margaret Doherty, Helen Cree-don, Mary Crowley, Gertrude Cummings, Mary All wood, Winifred Boyle, Mary O'Donnell. James Mahoney, James Crowley, Charles Magner, James Downey, F. Reed, James Ryan, Timothy Murray, Edward Flynn, Joseph Monahan. Joseph Edgerly, James Lee, John Coughlin, Joseph Purcell, Joseph McLaughlin, Leo Sullivan, John O’Brien, Robert Miller, ■^Leo Dower, Lawrence Tombach, Francis Dempsey, Joseph Blake, Theodore White, Daniel Murphy, W.
