And since Delanev has been with them since before the Dukes acquired their dukedom, there is good reason to believe he knows what it's all about.His first point is that they're simply not a pure, traditional Dixieland band.The Dukes' rhythm section,” he says, ‘uses modern chords. Delaney says, because they felt Audio Fidelity was simply re stating old statements 1 felt the boys could do other things, branch out On Columbia, they will branch. The first album has them Dixielandmg Broadway show tunes. Next they'll do standards and soon they'll go to work on folk songs
