Eellman was a member ot the original Lady Board ot Managers of the Galveston Orphans’ Home, making Mrs. Seinshei-rner the fourth generation to serve. Unable to be present lor pictures were Mrs. Sarah Hawley Creson, whose grandmother, Mrs. Waters 5. Davis, and mother, Mrs. Harry Hawley, served on the board, and Miss Gladys Kempner, whose mother, Mrs. Harris hernpner, served tor many years. This year’s ball will be April 30 at Moody Center, with music by Buddy Brock and his Orchestra of Houston, and will benefit the Galveston Orphan’s Home which was founded here in 1811.Ii!- 1.it, ;■:!* frit;MRS. W earing a diamond and pearl heirloom pin, she is seated on a red velvet Empire sofa from the old Randall home. Mrs. W. P. Ballinger was a charter member of the Lady Board of Managers and was succeeded on the board by her daughter Mrs. Randall Sr., making Mrs. Randall Jr. the third generation to serve. Reservations for this years ball should be made with Mrs. Jesse B. Johnson Sr. or with Mrs. R. Wilbur Goodman in advance, as tickets will not be sold at the door. Mrs. John McCray is tickets chairman and Mrs. G. H. Wolter tirst directress.
