Mrs. Russell FlinnHeads Heights PTASItlMrs. Russell Flinn was elected president of the Weirton Heights PTA at a meeting held in the school. She succeeds Mrs. James Givens.Others elected were Mrs.Harold Ferguson, vice president; Mrs. Joseph Cassella, secretary, and Mrs. Paul Rosnick, treasurer.New officers will be installed at the next meeting, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the school. A program on safety will also be presented.Mrs. Givens presided at the business session, and Mrs. James Berry was in charge of devotions. Reports were given by Mrs. Nick Zatezalo, secretary, and Mrs. Flinn, treasurer.The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Keith Flinn and Scott Klar, members of Cub Scout Pack No. 31 sponsored by the PTA.Mrs. Basil English, parent and family life chairman, held amaterials display and presented the members with packets titled “Wild, Wonderful West Virginia,” compliments of The West Virginia Department of Commerce.Mrs. Merl Barr of the exceptional child services committee also held a display.Mrs. George Weekley announced the annual Hancock County PTA Council banquet will be held May 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Millsop Community Center.A rhododendron tree will be planted by students of the school today, it was announced by Mrs. Joseph Cassella, conservation chairman.Mrs. Givens appointed Mrs. Edward Kobylarz, Mrs. James Lang and Mrs. James Hunter to the auditing committee.David Miller, executive director of the Hancock -Brooke Mental Health Service, presented a program and screened a film titled “How Are You?” A question and answer period followed.Mrs. George Vacheresse and Mrs. David Klar were in chargeof hospitality.IVlchriStNJunior Pai
