8 THE TRIBUNE: Sunday, April 16, 1967Thornridge High School Presents My Fair LadyThe cast of Thornridge high school’s production “My Fair Lady” is now in its sixth week of rehearsals. The play will be presented April 26-29 at 8 p.m. in the Thornridge auditorium.The involved musical score requires a great deal of ensemble dancing and singing. For this purpose, musical and dramatic tryouts were held concurrently.Carolyn Toth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Toth of Dolton, is cast in the lead role of Eliza Doolittle and Randy Drolen, son of Mr, and Mrs. Bernard Drolen of Thornton, plavs the other lead, Professor Higgins. Carolyn and Randy find themselves not only acting and singing but dancing as well.• * *CAROLYN HAS been active in both music and drama in her four years at Thornridge. Her first jnajor musical role was Tuptim in “The King and I” while she was a freshman. Last year she played Liesl in “TheSound of Music.”Randy is also a well-known actor on the Thornridge stage. Last spring he was awarded an “Oliver,” outstanding actor award, for his portrayal of Alfred in “My Three Angels,” and Max in “'The Sound of Music.” Bob Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C.
