Formal Military Ball For43rd Division Friday NightEnlisted men of the 43rd Division will be honor guests at a formal military ball Friday night at the new USO center on Front street. The bail is being sponsored by the Camp Shelby Cooperative association, the USO and Service club, No. 1? Sue McQueen, senior hostess. Dancing will be frofft $:30 to 11:30 p. m. Private--—2--rrGeorge Monahan will be master ofceremonies. One of the New England infantry bands, under the direction of Warrant Officer Lionel Kennedy, will play.DancerMiss Ruthie Lotterhos of Crystal Springs will be featured in the floor show.In speaking of the dancer, Mrs.McQueen stated: “Miss Lotterhos Is not only a favorite in her native state, but danced on many important programs for other outstanding events, including some in Texas and California.“Last year she was a featured solo dancer at the Children’s Cotton Carnival ball in Memphis. Her original dance, 'Origin of Cotton.* was highly* praised.“In California Ruthie was the youngest solo dancer doing Spanish dances in Santa Barbara’s famous fiesta of Old Spanish days. She will be accompanied to Hattiesburg for her performance by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L.
