Charles A. Sotithwood Injured atMftmmoth Vein.Charles a Southwood has brought suit for $2 0,000 against the Southern Indiana Coal company for personal injuries received while ztf work in the Mammoth Vein mine.He alleges that he was riding on the front car of a train of five cars propelled by a motor and that on account of a defective switch the car upon which he was riding left the track and he was crushed against a mine prop, and injured so that his left leg had to he amputated belowthe kn.ee.A. W. Knight and John O. Pietyare the plaintiffs attorneys and Harris and Taylor represent the defendant.
