Mrs. Jeanette SimmonsBURLINGTON — Mrs. Jeanette Boseman Simmons, of 711 Chandler Ave., died Friday, April 9, 1999, at DurhamRegional Hospital.A native of Anderson, S.C., she was the w i fe of M r. Reuben H.“ Jack Simmons Jr., who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Ollie Sylvester Simmons Boseman andMrs. Carrie Trayham Boseman, both deceased. She was a retired employee of Elon Homes for Children. She was a member of First Baptist Church on Apple* Street, where she sang with the Chancel Choir. She was also a■ member of the Ron Bigelow 1 n t e r d e n o m i n a t i o n a 1* Fellowship Choir. She was a ! 1954 graduate of Jordan Sellars I High School.I Survivors other than her hus-; band of the home include a* daughter, Ms. Teresa Carol’ Simmons of Greensboro; a son,» Dr Dennis .1 Simmons of New* Orleans; a sister. Mrs. Equilla Boseman Davis of Burlington; and two grandchildren.She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers, including Mr. Waddell Boseman.The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church on Apple Street by Dr Richard W. Styles Sr.. pastor. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery.The family will be at Hargett and Bryant Funeral Home from 8.30 to 9:30 this evening and at other times at the home.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society of Burlington, 1226 Huffman Mill Road.
