VVU3The first La Marque Neighborhood 4 -H Club pet show was a “howling” success.A total of 119 entries, including every type of pet from dog to lizards, were shown Saturday at the La Marque City Park,Dog entries ranged from the large St. Bernard and German Shepards to a tiny toy poodle to some of the city’s muttiest mutts.Unusual pets entered included a squealing pig dressed in baby clothes, an Iguana lizard, a possum, turtle and two lambs.Winner of the best trained pet class was also an unusual entry. Andrew TacqUard showed “Speck” a tomato-eating turtle that ate out of his hand.Judges for this first annual pet show were R. J.
