A newly formed trio known as ’’The Electros” provided original and currently popular rock ’n roll.The group’s lead guitarist isBob Leydig, playing the rythmn guitar is Dennis Phillips and Freeman Deist is the drummer.Leydig, a sophomore at Hyndman High, has been playing for five years. His counterpart, Dennis Phillips, a junior, has played for about three years. Phillips also plays for the Hyndman High School Chorus. Freeman Deist, an eighth grader, who has been on the drums less than a year, is a member of the Hyndman High Band and Chorus.“The Electros” hold their practice sessions several nights a week, usually meeting in each others homes. The trio states that they're looking forward to their next engagement.be chosen to speak at the' graduation exercises at Bedford High School in June.The students will be chosen by a faculty committee consisting of Thomas Doyle, William Patterson, Elza Haga, Lester Croft, Mrs. William Gorman and Arthur V. Townsend, principal. Poise in speaking, diction and content and presentation of speech will be considered when picking the student speakers.One remark made by Mr. Townsend was, They were all so good it will be hard to decide.
