Simpson; Mary of Magda* I lena, Mrs. Lincoln Dodge; Pandira ;a Greek, Merton Pettee: Titus, the j Roman officer, Loring Young; Agur the physician, Eliphaiet Pettee; servants, doubling their roles, Mr. Youngand Mr. Pettee.The stage was superbly set. The whole production was carried through , with the dignity and the spirit of its lines, of the time and the place of itssetting, which showed that the cast and those who worked with th«m invarious ways for the success of theplay had done their work with exceptional understanding of the great difficulties and many demancs.The Rock might be called a re-ligious drama and the time is 2 7 A.
