AMARILLO LITTLE THEATER MEETS MONDAY EVENINGWith Mrs. Dana Harmon Trent presiding, the Amarillo Little Theater met Monday evening in the Women's cbiorooms for a business session.The minutes of the first meeting were read by Mrs. Jack Houser in the abseit*?o of the secretary, Mrs. Bryan Weatherby.The constitution and by-laws were read by Mrs. Gene Pryor, chairman of that committee, and were adopted as a whole by the organisation.Mrs. Trent made the announcementof the three prizes of $15, $10 and $ for the best one-act plays which are to be written by members of the Amarillo Little Theater. The donor of the prizes, an Amarilloan who is sincerely interested in the movement, wishes his name to remain unknown until the awarding of the prizes. No date for closing the contest has yet been given.It was also voted by the organization to become federated with the Potter County Federation of Women's clubs at once.Several committees were named by the president.The next meeting of the club will be held on April 26 at 0:30 o'clock in the Women's club rooms. The meeting will bo postponed on account of the Festival.
