SCHOOL CHILDRENMay Attend School In ail Adjoining Township if More Convenient.Columbus, 0., April 13. — Senator Voight introduced a bill authorizing the attendance at the schools of one township of children living in another, the board of education in the township where the children live paying the per capita cost to the other board.The expected bill cutting the salary of the judiciary was introduced by Senator Kennon. The bills—there were two of them—cut the salaries of circuit judges from $4,000 to $3,500 and common pleas judges from $2,500 to $2,000. Mr. Kennon has done some figuring, and finds that 117 judges in Ohio receive $337,500 in salaries, and that the reduction would be a saving of $55,000 a year.The following bills were passed in the senate.H.
