We feel that those not selected that could have been on the basis of their fine performances in the tournament included Phil Miles and Bill Buck of the Bombers, Gene DeBerardinis and Sandy Williams of J, Covi-tch, Tom Andros and Bob Hansard of Penn Sill* Neil Kemp of Rathskeller and Ron Anderson of the Renovo Jets,Of this group local people probably talked more about Miles’ fine tourney performance. He finished the tourney with 49 points (after scoring only four in the first game) but his defensive play and hustle in every game did not go unnoticed. He also on several oceassions didn’t he-stitate to pass up the good shot if a teammate had a better one. Of course the two Covitch players mentioned didn’t show up for the big one and you can hardly pass out honors to a consolation loser.As far as the other players mentioned we'd like to comment on one other, Andros. We have long advocated that he is one of the finest players in the area. He can do anything required in the game, and then some.
