HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS OFTHE PLANT MUCH IN DEMANDThe big Clay Products factory at nearby Clermont is experiencing a. gratifying rush of business at the present time and is giving steady, lucra^* tlve employment to a large force of miners and factory workers.The rush of orders has been, so pronounced that difficulty has been, experienced, It is understood, keeping pace with the demand for the sewer pipe and conduit, widely recognized for Its unusually high quality, which is manufactured by the Clermont company, even with a greatly increased working force working under rush conditions.The Democrat la Informed that the • big plant is being extensively remodeled and enlarged at the present time, a large quantity of new and modem factory equipment i« being installed and new kilns and stacks are being er~ • ected.The busy scene of activity presented ; at the large factory is most gratifying to Clermont residents.There is a wide demand for the fine • products of the Clermont plant when civic developments and public utilities expansion work is at normal stride in American cities.The city of New York, particularly, has been a purchaser of the Clermont products on a huge scale, while the subway systems under the metropolis contain miles of the conduit made from the fine clay which is mined from under Clermont.
