Thursday, members of the Charnwood Forest Chapter, Daughters of the British Empire, heard a report on the success of a recent covered dish supper and jumble sale.Mrs. Anthony Flacco entertained the group at her home in Glenside. for this affair.W?ays and means chairman Mrs. IDee Guckes presented plans for a card party on Thursday, April 119. Mrs. Walter Diddle of Willow Grove will be hostess to members and their friends.Plans were discussed for participation in the Christmas Ba-zaar supported by all chapters in the state. Mrs. Harry Pfeil, of Hat boro, will be assisted as chair-j man by Mrs. Walter Diddle in charge of decorations, Mrs. Henry Bedinger, publicity, Mrs. Anthony Flacco, sewing, and Mrs. P. Thomas Smith, knitting.Several members will be guests of the state organization at a tea at the New Century Club, Philadelphia, on Thursday, April 26. Miss Bess Howard, noted world traveler, will speak.Over typically British refreshments at the close of the meeting the group enjoyed the company of two English visitors. At the same time they surprised member Mrs. Winston Petersen o f Prospectville with a stork shower.The next regular meeting will be for prospective members onThursday, May 3. Mrs. P.
