Bellande Heads War Loan WorkersExalted ruler Russell Braun announced that the Biloxi Lodge will take an active part in the 7th War Loan Drive which starts on May 14th. L. appointed the following' committee for this work: Roy Bellande, chairman; assisted' by Sam Strangi, Roy Pisa rich. George Purcell Jr., Dewey Lawrence, Herbert McDonnell, Merritt Brunies, Jeff Mo^no, Dominick Fallo, Louis Anglado.Mr. Bellande and his committee will be host at a shrimp supper Monday night at 8 p. m. for members of the Elks and special invited guests, This will be in the form of a rally and a special guest speaker will be secured for the main address.The exalted ruler also announced that a special Mother’s Day program would be held on Wednesday, May 16th. This program will be held at 8 p. m. The Elks meeting will be suspended In order that mothers, relatives and friends of Elks may attend.The committee in charge of the program as announced by the exalte** ruler are: Rev. E. A. De-Millers assisted by C. M. Drey# Clyde Campbell Dave Sanderson, Euge'ne Mangin and Chester Rose,The Lodge voted the sum of $100 to the World War No. 2 Memorial Park Fund.Dominick Fallo reported progress in the securing of equipment for the running of a Bingo Gam* for the Elks Charity Fund.Ray Pisarich, manager of tha Elks soft-ball team reported that he had signed up six players for the Elks team and asked for volunteers to complete the lineup. Clyde Campbell made a final report on the recent visit of tha Grand Exalted Ruler.Steve Gorenflo and Wm. (Bill) Komman were reinstated into tha order. The attendance prize was awarded to the Exalted Ruler.
