Miss Clara Sears, who had a saleat Horticultural hall lust year for the Carney hospital, and theatricals at the Columbia theater the season before, isarranging an interesting program flt;|| this year in the form of an out-of-door concert to be given on the grounds of Mrs John L. Gardner’s estate at Brook-line on the afternoon of May 23, by members of the Symphony orchestra,Mr Max Zach conducting. Part of thc3 proceeds will go to the Industrial school for crippled and deformed children. After tin- music tea, cake and ices will bo served. Mrs Horatio N. Slater, Mrs E. Rollins Morse, Mrs Van Rensselaer Thayer Jr, Mrs Gordon Abbott, Mrs Charles Head, Mrs S. Endicott Peabody, Mrs C. P. Curtis Jr, Mrs Bryce J. Allan, Mrs Apthorp, Mrs E. Preble Motley, Mrs F. R. Scars Jr, Mrs J. C. R. Peabody. Mrs Allen Curtis, Mrs It. C. Hooper, Mrs Curtis Guild Jr, Miss Mary Ames, Miss Nellie Eldridge, Mrs Gardner and Miss Clara Bears are among the list of patronesses.
