His introductions of ^‘Bamboo Land” was well Hil»d w.th] funny antics winding up with ‘‘Uncle ( .Tom’s Cabin” song ea'/ori fortn the;appplause of the evening. The iast, act on the program was pronouncedthe best by all odds. The Cliffords in a novelty act wherein the feminine part of the company gave a swallowing stunt, swallowing everything froma knife to a loaded cannon. The same characters with new pictures this evening at the Star.
