IN SUBURBS AND COUNTYMiss Annie Laurie Oockey Is Wedded To Mr. O. W. SmulL- LORGANIST PLAYED OLD TUNEHBrrt«g«‘ Of Promlwent Yo«afWoman, Followed By Largely Attend ed Reception.A pretty wedding took piece at 7 P. M. yesterday in Rt. Jamee’ Protestant Eplsco-pal Church, My Lady’s Manor, when M1m Anna Laurie Oockey, daughter of Mra. Anna R. Oockey and the late Col. Joshua H. Oockey, was married to Mr. Gsorge Warner Smull.The bride was dressed In white net, chiffon end lace over white taffeta. She wore a white tulle Tell caught with pearls, a gift of the groom, and carried a shower hooquet of lilies of the Talley. She entered the church with her brother, Mr. John Oockey, by whom ahe was glvsn in marriage. She was met at the chancel by the groom, attended by his best man, Mr. S. Hall Worthington. The ceremony waa performed by the rector, Rev. Sydney A. Potter.Mra Harry T. Pearce waa organist and played the Lohengrin Wedding March. During the ceremony -Annie Laurie was played. The maid of honor waa Mias Daisy W. Cockey, a slater of the bride, and waa attired in white French mualln over white •Ilk and carried white sweetpeaa.The flower girls. Misses Eleanor Cole Bosley and Maude Augusta Pearce, cousins of the bride, wore dresses of white Persian lawn with pink saahea and carried baskets of pink sweetpeaa. The ushers were: Dr. Edgar Allen Fleetwood, of Wheeling, W. Va.: Messrs. Hartwell Crogin MaeCart-ney, of Washington ; X. Miltenberger Small, brother of the groom, and Thomas Deye Cocksy, the brlds’s brother.The church waa beautifully decorated with palms, potted plants and evergreen.After the ceremony a reception waa given at Harmony Hall, tha borne of the bride, and waa attended by the near relatives and intimate friends of the families.Her father, the late Col. Joabua H. Cockey, twice represented hia county In theLegislature.After the reception Mr. and Mrs. Smallleft for New York and Atlantic City.The bride’s goingaway gown waa pearl gray with bat and gloves to match.Upon their return they will make their home at the Gables.
