•ScoutsBROWNIE TROOP 406 of Walnut have scheduled an outdoor cook-out with the Junior Gir! Scout Troop 680 on April 20. Third-grade Brownies will “Fly Up to the Junior Girl Scout troop at this event. A skating party is planned f o r April 9 and a district campo-ree is set on May 4 at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds. The Brownie troop attended acook-out at Sycamore Canyon in Diamond Bar. Mrs. Dave Williams, outdoor skills advisor for the Spanish Trails Girl Scout Council, assisted troop leaders, Mrs. Charles Shepler and Mrs. Carl Garner, at theevent.Attending the cook-out were Laura Lopez-Tiana, Michella Staab, Pamella Richards, Gloria Perez, Debbie Pairis, Eileen O’Neil, Christie Meyer, Kay Marx, Vicki Lloyd, Debra Lankford, Lori Garner, Alexandra Goldanes, Cheri Lynn Evans, Patricia Eaton, Debbie Brown, Judy Boles, Susan Aubrey and Theresa Agwinaga. Bert Eaton, Jim Lankford, Mrs. Larry- Marx and Mrs. Ruby Pairis provided the transportation.
