Marin Teens7 ComboWins Glorious BattleA Marin County teen-age rock •n’ roil group had its first big taste of success last night.Butch Engler and the Styx were judged the best of about 300 other combos at a “Battle of the Bands” in the Cow Palace.The prize was $1,000 and a chance to see their name on a pop record label.by H. Liebes Stores, began Sunday and climaxed with the judging by radio disk-jockeys.The local group is led by Butch Engle of Tamalpais Vai-ley. Other members are Rick | Morrison of Santa Venetia, Mike Pardee of San Anselmo.
