Promotion Sales Conference to Be Held Tuesday NileGood Speakers to Be Present—AllMerchants and Employees Are Invited to Attend.The Sales Promotion Conferenceof St. Charles Store Owners and Managers invites ail St. Charles Merchants and all retail employees to an open meeting on Tuesday, April 9, 1940, at 8:15 p. m., at the St. Charles High School.At this meeting there will be the first public showing of the slide film with synchronized dialogue entitled “NoTtckee No Washoe!This film is a dramatization of the Merchandise Approach in Selling, prepared by the National Association for Visual Training.The guest speaker at this meeting will he Maurice L. Hirseh. Advertising Managei* of Klines, Inc., S. Louis, and Vice President of the National Association, for Visual Training, who will speak on the subject “The Selling Approach.. This meeting is the first of several such open meetings to which both merchants and their employees will be invited, as part of the new program policy arranged by the Sales Promotion Conference. Dates subjects for such open meetings will be selected by members of the Conference as part of their discussions.All St. Charles merchants are invited without formality, to take part in the meetings of the Conference, which take place weekly on Tuesday evenings at 8 o'clock at the St. Char les High School.
