LEWIS FAMILY IN THE SPOTLIGHTIn looking' through the columns of the last issue of the South San Francisco, California, Enterprise that has come to our desk we find the following item referring to a family of old Cheboygan folks well known to all of the Democrat readers:“Miss Katherine Lewis, a daughter | of Mr, and Mrs. James P. Lewis took the part of Sally Walers in a play just staged by the high school of that city, and did her part with credit.”“Herbert Lewis, the young son of J. P. Lewis suffered a- bad strain of his left wrist in a baseball game Saturday afternoon. Sunday evening he had the injured member rubbed with liniment and was standing by the kitchen range, when he suddenly fainted and fell across the range. His right arm struck a teapot full of hot tea and smashed it, and the arm was quite badly scalded.”“Mrs. Ella Lewis, mother of J. P. and E. H. Lewis and Mrs. Edward Stireman of this city, suffered a stroke of paralysis in Redwood City Monday noon. She was brought to Mrs. Stir email’s home on Randolph avenue, where she is now under the doctor’s care.”“Fred C. Lewis of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Charles F. Hursley of Sault Ste.
